Cartoon: The Hell You Say / April 1993

This cartoon illustrated Kevin Dean's "The Hell You Say" column in the April 1993 Sarasota Arts Review. He used the recently release of a Rhino box set as a jumping-off point to discuss the bogus media image of the Beat Generation. One of my better cartoons. Strong, simple and clean -- and I captured the tone of his piece.

I've played with the contrast, but line work still looks muddy. Will replace with original file or rescan original art, assuming I ever find it. For reference purposes only.
